A few things to be thankful for this holiday season with a nod to the Lowcountry:

As the weather around the country fades into a wintery, icy sloshfest we here in Savannah are just loving the springlike temps of 78 degrees and clear....tee hee hee.  Ol' St. Nick will be wearing his swim trunks and a tank top if he knows what's good for him.

A few things to be thankful for this holiday season with a nod to the Lowcountry:
peel n eat shrimp caught off the coast here (wild caught, Wild GA Shrimp, or just plain ol' swimps)  I actually peeled 8 lbs of raw crustaceans by myself yesterday afternoon in 45 minutes.  Don't know if it's a record but I felt pretty dern good about it.  It'll be for my wife's little catering thing she's doing tonight for about 25 people, the main ingredient for some JUMBALAYA.

It's also easier for me to do mundane tasks like that while listening to some good tunes, specifically a feature on my Itunes called Itunes Radio, and a program called BiggaBush and the Feb 07 program which is about 80 minutes worth of some kind of FUNK MUSIC hybrid from across the globe.  So I guess the JUMBALAYA will be some extra good and funky.
