Therese McMillian

I grew up in Savannah and know the neighborhoods like the back of my hand from West Chatham to the Islands and everywhere in between. I understand the amenities and advantages that the different communities offer, and I'm committed to providing excellent customer service, by listening carefully, researching the local real estate market thoroughly, paying attention to details, and communicating clearly. I just love helping people. I was a teacher at Blessed Sacrament School, where I was honored as Teacher of the Year. I feel like I'm able to apply skills from the world of teaching to my work in real estate. As a teacher, I was appreciated for my commitment to excellence in teaching, hard work, creativity, and professionalism, as well as my skills in communication, planning, and working with the administration on policy and organizational leadership. I have an understanding of contracts and construction from my background as a paralegal with a construction management company, where I wrote the contracts and worked with construction companies and their subcontractors. I live in Ardsley Park with my husband, Tom, who teaches history and economics at Savannah Arts Academy. We have two children, Thomas, a senior at the University of Georgia, and Katie, a sophomore at Savannah Arts.
