Murray Yanker is a Realtor® with Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty in Bluffton, South Carolina. Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Murray was a Food Editor for DOWNTOWN magazine in New York City. She also spent ten years as a food stylist to numerous celebrity chef cookbook authors, food network television shows, and various national advertising brands. Murray holds a Culinary Diploma degree from the Institute of Culinary Education. She also trained at the famed James Beard House in Greenwich Village. Murray has enjoyed giving cooking instruction to children and was involved in childhood education for healthy eating and diabetes through New York Presbyterian Cornell Weill hospital. Murray began her professional career as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines. Murray moved into the airline executive role holding responsibility for Asia, Europe, Latin America, as well as, many domestic destinations. Her career at Delta allowed her to travel all over the world, spending 25 years in Manhattan before moving back home to South Carolina. A native South Carolinian, Murray graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. She and her husband, Randy, and two daughters love walking their dog, Bella, on the trails and being outside enjoying swimming, boating, golf, tennis or horseback riding. Murray is an active board member for Hilton Head Christian Academy school, Margaret Byrd Rawson Foundation, and the Headwaters neighborhood POA at Palmetto Bluff.
