Christopher Phelan is a Charleston-based Realtor with Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty serving buyers and sellers as a part of The Handler Group. Chris relocated to Atlanta from NJ 35 years ago and has become the fabric of the Southern Community. A former College Varsity Football athlete, Chris pursues excellence in real estate with discipline ingrained in him from an early age. His work ethic is fortified by a natural propensity toward science and technology, a characteristic that made him a sales powerhouse for Fuji and Kodak for twenty years. As a Realtor, his background translates to innovative marketing techniques and high-touch client service.
Chris grew up in Morristown, New Jersey, the seventh of eight children in a competitive, athletic family. He played football for Gettysburg College and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Armed with a rare combination of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, Chris joined Fuji and excelled, earning Salesmen of the Year in 2000. He would go on to succeed for brands like Kodak and Nordstrom before becoming a Realtor in 2014.
Chris and Pam have taken their strong interpersonal and relational skills to successfully run International and Independent Business networking groups in Atlanta for the past 10 years. Currently, they are members of a dynamic and innovative International Business networking franchise called Trustegrity in Atlanta and are in the midst of launching a new group in Charleston SC.
Alongside partner Pamela Handler (founder of The Handler Group), Chris completes a formidable duo serving residential buyers and sellers. Primarily referral-based, their business is a true reflection of the client-first, personalized service they provide.
When not helping clients, Chris stays active by regularly performing high intensity low impact training outdoors for Seniors designed to help him and others live to age 100. Other outdoor activities include exploring Charleston and its Beaches with Pam and their white Boxer, Penelope.
