John is the three-time winner of the Hilton Head Open and the South Carolina Open in 2013 at Belfair. Like many Hilton Head Islanders, John came to the area by way of Ohio, landing in the Lowcountry as a college intern at Colleton River Club in 1992, and decided to stay.
